Touristic Tax

The tourist tax is a mandatory fee in some areas of Portugal that helps support local services, culture, and natural sites.

Why there is a Tourist Tax?

The Municipal Tourist Tax is established to support the maintenance, development, and sustainability of Lagoa as a top-quality tourist destination. Tourism generates significant benefits for the local community, but it also places pressure on public services, infrastructure, and the environment.
